About this villa rental
Surrounded by nature, in front of the sea and with a magical view. If you want to walk around, you can go walking through the natural path that connects all places on Isla Grande (where Isla Amor Villa is located). Isla Grande offers a variety of activities such as diving, fishing, entertaining beaches, kayaking, mangrove lagoon tour on canoe and bicycle rental. Outside cozy terrace that has a kitchenette. Cool outside kiosk to socialize with a big dinning table. Comfortable house terrace in front of the sea that has hammocks, tables and chairs. Inner living room with an inner full kitchen, comfortable furniture and TV (cable tv); this area has air conditioner. Four bedrooms. Each bedroom has an air conditioner and an en suite bathroom; two of the bedrooms have a double bed each, and two of the bedrooms have three individual beds each. Two great cooks will be glad to cook your meals, but please bring your food menu and your food, beverage and ice supplies. You will find all the essentials in bedrooms and bathrooms except shampoo, please bring your shampoo.
- You will find two single kayaks and one double kayak at Isla Amor that you can use and you don't have to make an extra payment to use them; but please take care of them and don't let them crash against the rocks at the seashore. - If you plan to buy supplies at local markets on Islas del Rosario and pay local activities, please take Colombian Pesos because there are no Money Exchange and you can’t pay with credit card. - The power plant will be turned on from 5:30 pm to 10:00 am. The rest of the time you will have solar energy and will be able to turn on all the accessories except air conditioners. - There is a sofa bed in the living room where two guests can sleep in case you are more than 10 guests.

We had a great time. The property has two residences. The chefs/cleaners are in a house at the back. They were really great. Especially great cooks! We provided the groceries and they cooked in the outside kitchen to perfection and cleaned after each meal. For us, it was all authentic Colombian food, which is what we wanted.The location is great. The chefs also helped with connecting us to fishermen, etc. Had great lobster delivered to our dock for our chefs to prepare one night. A short paddle down the shoreline in the provided kayaks will take you into a series of saltwater lakes that are connected by winding canals through mangrove forests. Amazing! Also, a 20 minute walk will take you to a cove that has biolumenescent plankton you can swim with at night. Spectacular! A five minute walk will take you to a public beach for easy swimming with children. We also arranged for a boat ride down the coast to see the sunset. As with most Colombian homes, there is no hot water, but it is luke-warm, so showers are actually refreshing.A small village with several restaurants and VERY small grocery shops is only a 10 minute walk away. We brought a fair amount of groceries with us from Cartagena since the food selection locally is limited. I would recommend doing that, but make sure you arrange with your transportation to carry the extra cargo with you to the island.Loved our stay! Highly recommend, especially if you are a bit adventurous.
