It was an amazing place for short visit we had to visit our family in the area. Given that we were there during late May, water was cold, as expected. My kids loved, however, playing on the dock and taking kayak out every morning.Rooms were spacious and we had room to spread out for me to complete some work while I was there. I loved looking out from the sun porch out towards lake at night since the quiet lake view was amazing. I would love to come back for fourth of July and see how the lively the neighborhood gets.Liquor store, gas station, small diner, Dunkin Donuts, and an ice cream shop are all in walking distance if you need something really quick, like lighting log in our case for one of the night to do smores with kiddos. Their neighbor was also so friendly with my 5 and 2 years old who are very much of social butterfly. House is decorated in a away there are lots of antique items so if you're bringing little ones, I would be cautious of those. That being said, if you have a light sleeper like 2 year old, door knobs do take a little effort to open and close to door. Just keep that in mind.Definitely highly recommend!

The house was so charming! We stayed there to attend my daughter’s college graduation. The home was very clean and we had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay here again. Great location and short drive to Quinnipiac. Amy H

This was such a beautiful house, my family enjoyed it all, the view, the lake and the kayaking. House was clean, host was amazing, made our stay one for the books, will definitely book again.
