Sunset Cove (formerly Treasure Island Condos) is a beachfront resort property centrally located on Seven Mile Beach walking distance to George Town, restaurants and best supermarket on island. You'll be in the middle of the action while also being in a private resort where the cruise ship crowds cant go!
This amenity-filled condo is the perfect way to vacation on the Grand Cayman Island. Centrally located in the Sunset Cove beach resort, the property offers easy access to an incredible range of Seven Mile Beach activities. It’s the ultimate getaway for relaxing or exploring the island.
A third floor unit with high ceilings, this spacious 1100 square foot apartment is fully furnished. It sleeps four guests with a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the guest room. Its two newly renovated bathrooms have been designed to offer modern elegance. The master bathroom comes with a ‘his and hers’ vanity while the guest bathroom offers a combination shower-tub. Bath towels, soaps, and linens are provided. This unit a garden view unit.
Equipped with modern technology, the unit has a flat screen TV, HD cable, and free high-speed wireless internet. To provide the utmost convenience, the condo has a fully-loaded kitchen with all necessary appliances and utensils: coffee maker, microwave, dishes, stove, oven, refrigerator, and toaster. Perfect for any meal, this kid-friendly unit comes with a high-chair (upon request) and a dining area that comfortably seats four. The sprawling balcony just outside the living room is a great spot for the entire family to enjoy the evening sunset.
For added ease, the unit has laundry facilities stocked with detergent and other essentials. This includes a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, and iron. It also has centralized air conditioning and plenty of free parking. A non-smoking space, the unit recently received an “excellent condition” rating when it was inspected by the Cayman Tourist Licensing Board.
The surrounding Sunset Cove property has many amenities. You can head down to the building’s luxurious swimming pool—the largest pool on Seven Mile Beach—which has a swim-up bar with snacks and cocktails. There’s also a Jacuzzi and shallow pool for children. Or, if you prefer to take a dip in the Caribbean, the property is just 100 feet from white sandy beach. It’s ideal for sunbathing, snorkeling the cove reef, and watersports. Other amenities include: an onsite restaurant, barbeque grills, beach chairs and umbrellas. Close to the airport and Georgetown, there are bars and restaurants (from fast food to fine dining) within walking distance. A grocery store and local shops are just a short walk as well.

This is a beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed unit with all that you need for a superb vacation. Amazing lagoon, beach, and pool. Host is fantastic, very responsive. We will be back. Book your trip here-you will be so happy!

The pool area was nice! And we loved the swim up bar. The condo was clean and it was very quiet! Our host responded quickly to all of our questions and was very accommodating.

Kyle was accommodating enough to allow early check in since my flight got in around noon. Access to the condo was seamless. It was clean and well kept; though the furniture needs updating. I loved the quiet beach for lounging. The onsite bar has a great spicy margarita. Had breakfast down the street at coconut Joes’’s a few times. The best snapper I’ve had in a while came from Peppers! Great stat overall.
Use Rowan Water sports for your tours! They’re great!

The location is awesome. The beach, pool, bar, and area is perfect, once you are on site. The bartenders are awesome. Note that this bar is a local hangout, and several patrons are from the area. I had the impression is was a private bar for the property. Definitely not a problem, though. Good restaurants within walking distance, and grocery was close. We rented a car, and parking was not an issue.
The condo itself was very average. It was cleaned when we arrived, but the walls need to be painted, there is a hole in the kitchen ceiling. They use aluminum foil to line the burners on the stove. The furniture is beat up, and damaged in areas. The paint on the walls is different colors, and poorly done. The kitchen needs to add more utensils for cooking, including more ice trays. Also, being a beach property, you would think a proper vacuum would be available. All they had was a small, hand-held unit.
The listing calls it a garden view, but it really is a parking lot view, with cars, shipping containers, and un-manicured landscaping. The former property on the front of the resort is beat-up and not operating.
With the location, we made it a good trip, but for the cost, it should have been a much nicer unit.
