About this chalet rental
Casa Fafét consists of seven rooms spread over two floors. On the first floor, you’ll find: a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a single sofa bed, a half-bath with a toilet, and a kitchen with a screened-in porch, fully equipped with all the dishes, appliances, and basic ingredients needed to prepare meals, as well as everything you’ll need for breakfast on your first morning. On the lower floor, there are: a cozy living room with a double sofa bed, a very comfortable bathroom with a large shower stall, and an utility closet.
All bed and bath linens are provided.
In the small “front garden” just outside the main entrance, there is a comfortable bench and a small table with chairs, ideal not only for enjoying a light snack outdoors but also as a remote workstation in complete tranquility. The fiber-optic internet/Wi-Fi works perfectly, both indoors and outdoors.
This is a real home, offering complete freedom during your stay—both in terms of space and schedule.
My wife and I are happy to provide all the information you need, as well as helpful tips to introduce you to the local sights, crafts, and the warm hospitality of the people who bring the wonderful Marecchia Valley to life.
You’ll be staying in a medieval village consisting of about twenty houses, a bell tower, a small church, and the castle with its ghost, Azzurrina—a little girl we’ve all come to love. You can get there by car; the road ends right in front of the village’s main entrance.
Access inside the village is restricted to residents and guests of Casa Fafet. Outside the walls, there are plenty of completely free parking spots.
The main amenities are all in Torriana, the village just before it. Here you’ll find: a small shop/grocery store inside the old butcher shop, a tobacco shop, a lively bar serving delicious aperitifs and snacks, a pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a dentist’s office, a post office, a hair salon, and the main church.
Casa Fafèt is an excellent base for exploring our inland region, rich in history, culture, traditions, and mysteries, as well as for reaching the more cosmopolitan beach resorts along the Riviera.
An efficient bus service connects Montebello with Torriana, Santarcangelo, and Rimini.
The bus stop is just a short walk away, right outside the village.
Down in the valley flows a river, our beloved Marecchia, where you can go swimming. There is also a swimming pool in the immediate vicinity.
Numerous trails branch off from Montebello, winding through the woods and suitable for hiking or mountain biking, all set in a natural environment with truly unique characteristics.
