This cozy retreat features 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a lovely bathroom with a bathtub, and additional living spaces with a twin bed and a sofa bed. Garage and bedroom above garage is not accessible and is vacant at all times while reserved. The garage is for storage and the bedroom above is for family stay, while repairing and cleaning. We had a great time and enjoyed a visit to Petit Jean State Park. I also caught a 6 lbs Largemouth Bass from the dock.

Such a great stay! The views are incredible and sunsets were beautiful! This was a great place to unwind, slow down and take in nature. We had fun kayaking, bbqing and just relaxing on the dock. The dock is a great place for morning coffee and there are other places to sit to enjoy the view. Our dogs loved it! The front of the property is gated so you have a little peace of mind. The back is open and the neighbors dogs, a goose family and rabbit all paid a visit.The home was very clean and the host was very nice and very responsive!My only recommendation would be to bring some games for rainy days but other than that we loved it and would rent it again!Thanks Tim!

We had the perfect weekend there. Such a cozy home and very clean. We had everything we needed only had to bring personal belongings. We will be back!!

We loved Perryville, having a dock, and access to the lake! Unfortunately, I feel like this listing was inaccurate, which affected our stay. First of all, it is NOT a 1 bedroom. It is a studio house. There are no walls separating the "bedroom" from the living room and halls. So if you were planning on staying awake after your kids go to sleep, not gonna happen here. I had to message the host to receive instructions for how to enter the house, which was a minor inconvenience, but he responded quickly. In addition, this property is a 2 level house but you only have access to about half of it. I dont know if there was another tenant but it felt weird to see this other half of the house that isn't a duplex. There was also a door that could enter the bathroom from the garage. So theoretically, I could be showering or using the toilet and someone could enter. Made me feel uneasy upon checking in. It also wasn't mentioned ANYWHERE in the listing that the other half of the house is not accessible. A simple sentence such as, "the other half of the house is used for storage/has a tenant, etc" would have been very helpful and put my mind at ease. So this is a STUDIO house that is a partial unit/unzoned duplex. We only stayed for one night but this would have been an issue if we had stayed for longer. AC was cold and yard/outside areas looked great! Also, there should probably be a trash can in the bathroom for ladies. Lots of supplies, like toothpaste, plates, etc, which was great.
