Only because VRBO quickly assisted us in finding a new place to stay am I rating this place with 2 stars. The house had an enormous water leak. So badly that the dry wall was bubbled out and the ceiling tiles had fallen out - no one could have been to the property in WEEKS.The home was NOT clean. There were cob webs and rat poop everywhere - including the high chair that was left to use.It’s unfortunate that there was a water leak for the property owners, but I’m thankful we ended up not staying there because the property was not well taken care of.

I would have appreciated a cleaner place. Everything was extremly dusty, and the pots and pan need to be upgraded. It is a lovely place to stay it just needs to be updated and refreshed.

Great location and comfortable cabin. However there were issues, which could be easily corrected:1) Lack of communication with owner and "manager." Owner is slow to respond. I asked for a phone number so we could reach a property manager in case there was a problem. We didn't receive a response and contact information was not provided in the house. There should be a way to communicate in case of emergency, i.e. a broken pipe, etc.2) We didn't use the hot tub due to a wasp nest under the cover. One guest was stung.3) It looked like the house had been cleaned, but not very well and it seemed, not recently. It was vacuumed, but there were spider webs and dead insects.4) There were partial rolls of toilet paper in the bathrooms, but no additional rolls. There weren't enough for several days, so we purchased additional rolls. Maybe guests take it, but there should be enough for the rental period.5) The WIFI account and password sent by VRBO was incorrect. We found the correct info on a note in the house.6) The TV remotes were not set up. Some TVs would not turn on and some were on with a screen saver, but we couldn't turn them off.
