About this house rental
This spacious, split level house with its unconventional layout that guests love for its unique character. It has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a very high standard and quality and sleeps up to 6 people and has 2 bathrooms. The ground floor has 2 bedrooms one with twin beds and the other is a zip n' link bed or can be made into 2 single beds. These are served by a shared bathroom with full facilities and shower. A cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.
You will find the kitchen and dining room on the middle level, both rooms and very light and spacious and over look the garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room which is very well equipped.
On the upper level there is the master King bedroom and an adjacent bathroom with bath and full facilities. The sitting room is also on this level with wonderful views over the Fowey River valley and surrounding open countryside. There is a large fenced garden and patio area with furniture and a gas bbq for your own use.
There is the indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub that has stunning views over the Fowey River.
A home-made Cornish cream tea awaits you on arrival as a warm welcome.
A games room, outside play area and friendly farm animals to feed daily. We are ideally located for touring all of Cornwall with many famous attractions, beaches, N.T properties, beautiful gardens, walks and many more activities and attractions closeby.
There is ample off road parking.

Holiday home in a beautiful location close to lots of attractions and of course the Cornish coast. Property is located at the top of a hill in a tiny village, opposite a church and within walking distance (down a steep hill) of a charming little pub and a small harbour on the estuary. The house itself was spotlessly clean and well maintained with everything you could need for a self catering stay. Some very thoughtful touches like the cream tea that awaited us, fresh eggs and amenities such as nightlights and a Weber barbecue. Other touches included bathrobes, proper towels (big and fluffy) and nice hand soap in the bathrooms. Lots of space for everyone inside to chill out. We were extremely lucky with the weather so only used the pool a couple of times but it was a fantastic facility. The small playground was ideal for smaller children and the trampoline for bigger ones! Very friendly farm animals on site including an alpaca. The house had a small terrace facing the church, which was ideal for an evening drink in the sunshine. Beautiful gardens too. Owner’s communication was very good and the property was easy to access when we arrived. We didn’t have any issues at all. This was a real gem of a find and certainly worth the price for a half term stay.

This was a beautiful cottage with wonderful view as we were at the top of a very big hill. Ruth was so friendly and welcoming. She had left scones as a welcome...which were delicious. The kids loved it here and have already requested to come back soon. The pool and hot tub were a great hit with everyone.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location. Spotlessly clean and lots of room and facilities.Pool, hot tub and games room are brilliant for rainy days.Outdoor play area and farm animals would be great for younger kids.Host was lovely and check on us on arrival and just as we left and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house. Ruth and John are excellent hosts, very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The welcome cream tea and the freshly laid eggs were a treat for us all. I took my 4 granddaughters who were delighted with the pool and hot tub. So much room inside and outside which was nice for us all. I would certainly recommend this property and we are definitely returning. Thank you Ruth and John
