It’s in St Nazaire sur Charentes, that I suggest you stop, in the south-facing, spacious and functional apartment, close to shops, close to the ocean, next to Port des Barques and its beaches. You can access the Madame Island on foot or by car, nearby you can take the ferry to the Isle of Aix, visit Brouages, and go for a walk in the marshes, in the accessible and nearby bird reserve. from the sea, and the countryside.

Jacques was a brilliant host. So friendly! Apartment was perfect. Area was lovely. People were friendly. Local tabac & bar was a good price & really nice. Will be coming back!
