Villa Il Sole is a charming Tuscan villa in a beautiful hilltop setting, offering spectacular views across the Val di Chiana. Surrounded by lovingly maintained gardens with lawns, rose beds and colourful flowers, it provides generous space and a wonderfully inviting atmosphere, ideal for relaxing holidays with family or friends in peaceful countryside surroundings.



The nearest village Civitella in Val Di Chiana is only 3km from the villa and offers a couple of Tuscan restaurants. The village was once fortified with walls and towers. Places of interest are the church of Santa Maria Assunta, the Rocca di Civitella and the Palazzo Pretorio. The second week in September is when the Feast of Grape, Olive Oil and Wine, is held, and there is plenty of opportunity to try the local products.

The villa has been built using natural stone and is surrounded by spacious, landscaped gardens. Several terraces allow guests to choose their favourite spot to enjoy al fresco meals or simply take in the views. The pool is located in a particularly attractive area on a lower level of the garden, where a pergola with comfortable seating provides another welcoming place to relax.



Inside, the two-storey villa has been sympathetically restored, preserving many original Tuscan features such as brick arches and wooden beamed ceilings.Soft, neutral wall colours and lovingly selected details give every room its own character and a warm, inviting feel. In addition to comfortable living and sleeping areas, there is also a cosy lounge with a games console, offering a pleasant extra space to unwind.
