The location of this apartment is very central with a 8 minute walk to the train station and village center. The balcony has a lovely view of the village and mountains. The apartment is carpeted through out. The beds are spacious and the pillows are huge. (Host, I did feel like my pillow had an odor, but no one else in my family noticed their pillows smelling bad.) It is really nice to have a full bathroom as well as a half-bath. The bath towels were huge and soft. The shower head is hung very low so the water hits at your belly button. (Host, please consider moving the shower head up to a more convenient height and location.) There was ample hot water for all four of us to shower each night after a full day of hiking.The kitchen is SUPER small, but it is well stocked. We found almost everything we needed. (Host, the kitchen had no hot pads for pulling pans from the oven.) FYI, there is no freezer, but there is an under the counter refrigerator. There was a small variety of spices, sugar, cooking oil, and a small amount of flour in the cabinets. There is also a dishwasher, toaster, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker.The television is small, but worked well and had good sound.

The apartment was perfect for our group of 5 adults. The space is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is spot on - it looks like you are in a hunting hut. The view from the balcony is stunning. The location is good too - 5 minutes from the train station at fast pace. If you are travelling with older people i will recommend that you arrange some transportation to the property. It`s not very steep, but it may be a problem for some people. Overall - very good base for exploring the region
