About this villa rental
Contemporary villa with exceptional amenities and unique layout equipped for an unforgettable holiday. Perched on a hill it offers delightful views of the landscape. Three living units make it a perfect choice for 2 or more families or a large group of friends as it offers plenty of privacy with separate sleeping areas as well as a unit designated specifically for leisurely activities. No luxury is spared on design which is equally modern, warm, inviting, timeless and cozy, with exposed wood beams, parquet floors, exposed stone walls, authentic fireplace, charming light fixtures and specious bedrooms. One unit consists of a traditional “tavern” with a dining room for eight, and two bedrooms, one on each floor, each with a private bathroom and a lounge area. Second unit offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a fireplace and two bedrooms, one on each floor, each with a private bathroom. The third, fun equipped unit, completes the luxury villa with a wellness area featuring a jacuzzi, sauna, a separate shower, another fully equipped kitchen with access to a terrace with an alfresco dining table and BBQ facilities, and the entertainment room with a pool table and table football. Air conditioning is available throughout. Welcome to Villa Fortezza.

Your gracious hosts have generouslyprovided 6 high-quality mountain bicycles for your use.
The beating heart of Croatia, extremely rich in history standing proof to occupation by multiple powers, Istria is the most multicultural region of the country with preserved Roman ruins, medieval coastal towns, excellent cuisine, superb beaches, crystal clear water, its own dialect and hospitable hosts. The mountainous center of the peninsula is home to charming villages, producing their own olive oil and delicious wine and if you find yourself here in late summer to early fall be sure to attend a truffle festival offering exquisite truffles in every way known to the gastronomic world.
For transparency:please account for 400 euro security deposit to be paid upon arrival directly to the host and returned upon departure, subject to inspection.Pool heating is available for 200europer week (April1 – June 30 and October). Pets allowed with a 50 euro per week booking fee. Please no groups of under 25 years of age.

The property consists of three buildings, two for sleeping and the pool house. The pool house is modern, the furnishings in the apartment buildings are a bit older. Everything was clean and there was a service that brought bread from the bakery in the morning if you wanted it. The sauna and pool were great. We were there as a group of 8 people and I can highly recommend it.

Beautiful villa complex in the hills near Buje. The space is separated in a way that works really well for a few couples or groups of 6-8 friends (this was us): the main building has 2 separate multi-story apartments, each with a kitchen and 2-3 rooms; below there is a wellness center (pool area + building with jacuzzi, 2 saunas, billiards, and a nice terrace), and one more story down there is a nice dining area and garden. It's a charming complex with plenty of privacy and an outstanding view over the surrounding vineyards and down toward the coast near Umag.
Klaudija and Paola were great hosts and were quick to fix the only issue we had (poor wifi signal in the beginning). Definitely recommend this as a base to enjoy and explore Istria!

Sehr großes, tolles Haus, in dem wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort, Paola, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat uns Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung gegeben und war stets ansprechbar. Das Haus hat einen tollen Pool mit Meerblick und liegt sehr ruhig. Um einkaufen zu gehen, benötigt man auf jeden Fall ein Auto.

Das Haus, der Pool, das Poolhaus, die Küche mit Sitzgelegenheit unter dem Pool.
Der Billard, der Whirlpool, das Dampfbad.
Wir haben und rundum wohl gefühlt :)
