This property blew us away. The pictures online are fantastic but seeing this home in real life was just incredible. A lot of times, pics online don’t match reality. This place has it all and everything worked which is expected but sometimes that’s not always the case. From the grand entrance that opens to the most spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean to the massive entertainment area and infinity pool. The Sonos system was fantastic and the sound quality was crisp. Huge bedrooms and all were clean and well thought out. We didn’t spend any time in the movie room or the game room because we were in the pool most of the days and all nights on the patio and living area partying with our friends. The house attendant cleaned the home each morning which was a huge help. Oh and the gym was a huge bonus. They have a smith machine as well as all sizes of dumbbells and a treadmill.
We were all very pleased with just about everything. The only thing we would suggest is a new coffee maker. The one there takes like 30 minutes to make a full pot of coffee.

The Casa Symbiotica is a beautiful property with an amazing view of the ocean and actually looks better than the photos suggest. The reason I am giving a 3-star rating is because the water went out on 2 nights of our 5 night stay. After spending time at the beach and on excursions, coming back to the property and not being able to shower or even flush the toilet for 10 guests was a huge inconvenience. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to visit all of the places we intended to because of this issue. The hostess was nice when we brought the issue to her attention on the first occurrence, but she could not resolve the issue as quickly as we would have preferred. A repair person arrived the next morning which meant my family and I were uncomfortable for the entire night. We tried to be understanding as things can happen beyond anyone’s control, but then the water went out a second time. There was a caretaker onsite, but addressing the water issue seemed to be outside of his skillset. All this tainted our experience. For some, having running water may not be a big issue. For me, it just did not make sense considering the amount of money paid. I cannot in good conscience recommend this property, especially with so many other properties in Costa Rica. I know the property management team may respond to this message with their apologies and yada, yada. I look at reviews before booking hotels, restaurants, etc. and just trying help others make an informed decision.
