About this cottage rental
Here at Windy Ridge Cottages on the outskirts of the Village of Tetney next to the Lincolnshire Worlds we offer two very comfortable self catering holiday cottages, a one bedroom cottage called "The Swallows Nest" and for details of the "Chicken Coop" please see our other advert also with Home Away for our terms and conditions and directions, please see our website www.windyridgecottages.co.uk both Cottages have been created by the sympathetic conversion of a traditional old farm building, the cottages are set in 5 acres of grounds, including our own private fishing lakes. Guests are welcome to stroll around the lakes, relax and enjoy their stay. Designed to offer a relaxing break away from the daily grind and are perfect for those seeking to explore the delights of the many attractions of the surrounding local area.
Windy Ridge cottages is an adults only (strictly no kids) and offers a pleasant setting for a peaceful break. Well behaved dogs are welcome, we do charge £25 pet cleaning fee, if you wish to bring a 2nd dog this will need to be approved prior to booking and will incur an additional £10 charge.

If you're looking for peace and tranquility then look no further.We received a warm friendly greeting from Barbara and the Chickens, and Barbara told us everything we needed to know. The cottage was spotless with everything you could need, comfy bed, comfy sofa, amazing shower and a total sense of calm .We woke in the morning to the sounds of wildlife, watched the wild rabbits running free, walked round the lakes and just relaxed. We went for a special occasion and there was a bottle of wine left for us to help us celebrate, such a lovely gesture. Hubby loved the fishing, he had the whole lake to himself with the exception of the animals wondering round and coming to visit him. We had eggs from the Chickens and they are the tastiest ones we've ever had, we purchased more the bring home. This place is a hidden gem, there's no road noise at all, it really did feel like you where miles from anywhere. We will be back as we really enjoyed our time here.

My partner and I usually travel in our camper but treat ourselves to a weekend here at Easter with our patterdale Branston. The whole place is absolutely amazing! Cottage is spotlessly clean,spacious and well equipped with anything you could need. The grounds are equally amazing and well kept. Location is great for a short trip into Cleethorpes which is great for dogs. Barbara the host is very welcoming and made check in super easy . Will definitely be returning in warmer months in our van to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The place was immaculate. Host was amazing. The place is within 15 minutes drive from local amenities and town. Incredible! We loved it and will 100% be booking again
