Morning coffee on the porch was amazing. The view breathtaking with the sunrise on the mountains.All the comforts needed away from home added to the touch. A short drive to Marpha for the Marpha lights, then to Fort Davis state park is a must in the rivers order.A little further from Fort Davis to the biggest Spring fed pool at Balmorhea State Park Will add to the touch. Starting out again from Alpine, take a little drive to Big Bend national Park, and be sure to do the scenic view. A stop in Terlingua along the way will add a flare of exploration with the infamous ghost town. Make sure to check out the gifts and the outdoor restaurant next-door on the hill by the Terlingua jail. 4 to 5 days is feasible to get all this done.

Everything worked great. Did not know the microwave had a door lock on it, but we figured it out. We had a great time and love it.

This modern farmhouse was clean, updated, and comfortable. The hosts do a wonderful job of making their home feel welcoming to guests. There was a nice coffee bar and even a basket of snacks waiting for us upon our arrival. The hosts communicate quickly and answer questions thoroughly. They are kind and flexible. The backyard had a variety of activities available to help kids have a good time as well. We especially loved the view of the mountains from the front porch. There is ample seating throughout the house and plenty of dishes and kitchen items for all your meal time needs. We would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend it.
