About this lodge
Cedarwood is inclusive of linen and towels, electricity and heating, open wifi, logs for the little wood burner, free-range eggs from our hens and ducks, and a Smart TV with Netflix. Outside is a fire pit and an ample supply of logs if you wish to enjoy the peace and quiet of a night sky with no light pollution. You also get total privacy, rural views, a large L shaped deck, a private car park, and your own garden and little wood all to yourselves…

We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Cedarwood for a 50th birthday gift. The cabin was perfect, wood burning stove and outside fire pit... We spent time in Rye and Winchelsea and rode the KESR steam train...a perfect weekend away. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose! Peter was a great host, very attentive and we had everything we needed. There is a barbecue in a store outside.... Wish we had known this instead of finding it on our last morning!

Beautiful little cabin in an idyllic setting. We were lucky with the weather and were able to make good use of the firepit. Highly recommended.

We had such a lovely stay! The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Peter was incredibly helpful, attentive, and easy to reach — thank you for making our weekend so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!
