About this apartment rental
tar Cottage is a fabulous holiday home that has been lovingly restored by the owner and is full of charm with many beautiful interior design features. The soft colour palette of the interior creates a warm and welcoming environment to this pretty cottage and we are sure fabulous holiday memories will be created here. There is a cosy sitting room, and a large sociable open plan kitchen/dining room with doors leading out onto the garden, a downstairs shower room and upstairs are the two bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom. Your four-legged friend is also welcome to join you. Whitstable is very dog-friendly with large stretches of the beach accessible all year round, and many cafes and pubs welcome dogs. Whitstable is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous.

It is a very cute pretty little cottage with good amenities. Parking was a bit hit and miss as double yellow lines everywhere. However it didn’t ruin the stay and we had a lovely couple of days. Would recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in star cottage which was beautifully presented. A high standard of bedding and towels provided.
Extremely comfortable beds.
Dog walking was very convenient at Duncan Downs just a 10 minute walk from the cottage.
Overall we had a great week with just some minor issues:
We felt the kitchen could have been better equipped ie. A small sharp knife, vegetable peeler, foil, oven gloves( a single glove isn’t everyone’s preference) we’re lacking
On occasions it was very difficult to park, access to the small residents car park would be a great advantage.( particularly for those with disabled badges.)

What a stunning holiday home Star Cottage is. Beautiful decor, great location for walking into Whitstable which we absolutely loved.
The attention to detail of Star Cottage was superb. Everything had been thought of. Gorgeous soft furnishings, the spacious rooms worked perfectly for 2 couples and 2 small dogs.
Highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful house in a good position for exploring Whitstable. House had everything we needed to make this a great place to stay.
