Make yourself at home in this bright, family-friendly holiday home. Large windows let plenty of light into the open-plan living area with sofas and armchairs. Light the wood-burning stove and spend some convivial hours playing table football or watching TV. Cook together in the open-plan, well-equipped kitchen and take your seats at the large dining table. After an active day, treat yourself to some soothing warmth in the hot tub and sauna.
Open the doors onto the terrace and enjoy the well-tended garden, surrounded by hedges. The covered terrace offers a dining area and a cosy lounge corner, whilst the barbecue is ready for summer evenings together. Relax on the sun loungers whilst the children play on the lawn or use the trampoline. Afterwards, head to the sandy beach with its bathing jetty, just a minute’s walk away.
Discover farm shops selling regional produce and visit the restaurants in the idyllic waterside village of Norsminde. Explore the nearby Fløjstrup Forest and follow the Marselisborg Sporet mountain bike trail towards Aarhus. In Aarhus, visit the ARoS art museum, the Den Gamle By open-air museum or the Tivoli Friheden amusement park, or take a stroll through the café district by the river. You could also take a trip to Tunø or Samsø, to Mols Bjerge National Park or to the Djurs Sommerland amusement park.

We had a lovely few days staying with family. The house is generally very well equipped. The kids loved the garden and being close to the beach.
The only issue was the lack of any provision of linen or towels. This was not clear to us during the booking process and so we did not bring any. Coming by plane from the UK I don't think it would have been possible for us to do so for seven people. We were lucky to be able to borrow some from our Danish family who lived nearby, but I suggest that it would helpful if the booking was much clearer that linen is not provided.
