Great location

Great location for Killarney town centre. Friendly locals, good food, book for Murphy’s bar as it gets busy. Corkys for a great local pint. Plan your day to kerry ring and dingle.

Great place to stay. It's quiet at night, but also a two minute walk to downtown or Tesco. The host was very responsive and helpful.

On the positive side, the apartment itself was ok (it was clean and appears to have been renovated recently) and nicely located for access to the main street. However, there were open food packages in the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator from a previous guest with crumbs all around the packages. The entrance hallway leading to the apartment was dirty and littered with light fixtures. The main entrance door, which was supposed to be locked, was often left open by some another tenant. The main entrance was also not well lit after dark, so between the door being unlocked and it being poorly lit, it was a little creepy after dark. There was a television in the apartment but no available channels - when I contacted the host about this, I was told I would have to purchase a Netflix account. It was advertised as having an available washer/dryer, which was one of reasons why we rented the apartment, but it was locked out and we were unable to use it. We thought there was parking available at the site which was not the case - the apartment is located down an alley and you have to lug your suitcases several blocks from a parking garage. Not at all what we expected, and not worth the money.
