About this cabin rental

This unique retreat in Capitol Reef country sets the tone for your old west vacation. Restored on the original wood spoke running gear by master craftsmen, this charming space is perfect for two and a child or a dog. The queen memory foam mattress assures a good night sleep. As in the old days there is no shower, but the other facilities are provided. Set on Elk Valley Ranch, this will be the part of your vacation you will long remember

We loved our stay here! The ranch was beautiful and peaceful. We saw an amazing sunset and enjoyed a campfire. The host was so friendly and welcoming. The covered wagon was cozy and the bed was so comfortable. Truly a special experience and a memorable place. Thanks!

Great stay for the experience. The single wagon is located in a really quiet farm area. Pay no attention to the address on VRBO -the owner’s directions are the only one to use. It may come the same day of the stay. Wagon has comfy bed, heater, coffee and tea makers. The bathroom is of course not in the wagon and is only a short 150 feet away. Very nice bathroom. Enjoy. Bonus - dark sky area and great view of Milky Way.

Property was perfect for my needs. Long after I forget all the chain hotel stays, I’ll remember my stay in the camp wagon in a remote idyllic setting. Thanks Tim!

If you are looking for a different lodging experience this fits the bill. I would equate the experience to tent camping. Location was not as expected. There were no other people staying in the area although there were residences near by. Nearest eating establishments were a bit a of drive. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place.
