This perfect 3-bedroom home is walking distance to fabulous restaurants, local shops, antique store, breweries and wineries. House of TarTar is our prince frog logo for guests to remember our location. Just 25 minutes from Lake Michigan and Dunes National Park. An hour to Chicago via transportation downtown. There are multiple free parking spots off the main street to this property. Ramp to back entrance of home.

This is a charming and convenient home for our visits to Valparaiso. Everything is amazing—we have no complaints at all. We wish we could come to Valpo more often now that we’ve discovered this home away from home!

Beautiful home with the most comfortable beds! My grandkids loved seeing the chickens and a couple of bunnies outside. The house is set up easily for someone who needs a ramp and large shower on the first floor; wide doorways as well. Plenty of hot water! Plenty of outdoor space for all! We never felt cramped inside or out. Quiet neighborhood. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub. The house is so close to downtown; perfect location! Everything about this place was easy. Loved our hosts! I would choose to stay here again!

This is a lovely home for spending the weekend in Valpo. The beds are comfy. The home is cozy. And the hosts provide a lot of little amenities that make staying in a rental even easier and enjoyable. We loved the Tiffany style lamps and art in the home. We even enjoyed seeing and hearing the chickens in the coop out back :) We didn't ask for any eggs, but would totally do that the next time!
