WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE HIDEAWAY:

"This place was beautiful and close to many things in the area. Both bedrooms were cozy, bathroom was clean and a great size, and the fireplace was great during the winter. We saw many deer close to the cabin which was a great surprise as well! Easy to get around to blowing rock, Appalachian ski mountain, grandfather mountain, and sugar mountain! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a getaway. Brandi was super helpful and responsive!" - Jenny

"The house was beautiful! Very clean, comfortable, cozy. We utilized the fire pit area every evening we were there. Felt secluded, but was close to shopping & dining. Would stay there again!" - Tim

"It was the perfect getaway for me and my wife. The hideaway was an ideal basecamp to explore the mountains and wonderful communities of Blowing Rock, Boone and Banner Elk. The foliage was spectacular, especially from the peaks of Grandfather mountain and Table Rock. Our favorite restaurant for fine dining was the Beat Cellar in Blowing Rock. We will definitely be back!" ~ Joni

Very pretty remodel. We only got to stay one night so didn’t really get to use any of the amenities. The host is very communicative and friendly. Parking was a bit difficult in a truck, especially at night if you had to leave. Also, be prepared for a rough road to the house, again, especially at night. Inside is great! Bedding smelled very fresh and good. Beds are very firm. The different style and thickness of pillows on the beds are very thoughtful. The additional a/c units were very much appreciated. Decorations were perfect for the style of house.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hideaway in Boone, NC! The cabin was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The space felt cozy yet spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. One of our favorite features was the wraparound deck with peaceful forest views. It was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or unwind in the evening. The location was ideal—tucked away for privacy, yet still just a short drive into downtown Boone and nearby attractions. It gave us the best of both worlds: quiet mountain retreat vibes with easy access to restaurants and activities.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Check-in was smooth, and everything was exactly as expected. It’s clear the property is well cared for and thoughtfully set up for guests. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Such a lovely place to stay. We were graced with a rain storm while staying in the house and sitting in the living room listening to the rain was so soothing and relaxing. This place feels secluded while also being close to trails, grocery store, cafes etc. Loved staying here so much!
