Great location, beautiful views and clean, comfortable accommodations. Everything we needed for my family. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub when we were not at the beach. Having access to air conditioning, beach gear, and laundry was a huge benefit. While quiet hours are posted, they were not followed by other residents during the weekend.

Couldn't find a cutting board. A little too dark in the kitchen/livingroom. Pool and hot tub were dirty.Loved the space and location and the art in the apartment was fabulous

The pool was clean and great for a quick dip, especially after a soak in the hot tub. The hot tub temperature was perfect and all the jets in order. The Makolea is far enough away from the chain stores (walmart, costco...) traffic, but close enough to them for a shopping trip whenever something is needed. We would not hesitate to stay here again and hope to do so soon.

Host was very responsive and helpful. Although the property was adequate, it is tired and in need of an overhaul. Kitchen is dark (missing ceiling light fixture), carpet should have been replaced ages ago, cabinets and counter tops are rough with missing tile, 5 remotes for the tv meant we had to call for help. The unit has beach gear (like chairs, umbrellas and boogie board) but some were broken and in need of attention. The spa was always dirty, lots of debris and sand that wasn’t removed by the pool service. We enjoyed our time despite having higher expectations of the property.
