The local wildlife often visits, including Canada geese, deer, fox, ducks (mallards, hooded mergansers, wood ducks), turtles, bullfrogs, and the occasional blue heron. It's a great place for bird watching and you never know what you might see each day. There are goats next door for an extra dose of the farm-style vibe! Watch the sunset from home or take a trip to our thriving downtown in beautiful Grass Valley. Whether it's summer or winter, we have you covered with heat and AC. The bathroom includes a hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and other amenities for your convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped for your needs with an oven, microwave, fridge and freezer with water and ice dispensers, and cooking pots, pans, and utensils.

We love this hidden gem so very much! So close to GV and NC and a great walking neighborhood. Super serene and relaxing with the pond and natural wild life. We’ll be back!!! Host is also amazing!!!

This was my second stay at this beautiful little place and it was just as lovely this time. Super clean, generously stocked kitchen, good shampoo/conditioner/body wash supplied in the shower, a variety of books, toys for kiddos, gorgeous pond full of happy critters. Can’t give it enough stars. The host is so quick to respond to any questions and was super understanding and kind when our arrival timing went awry.

We stayed here for a girls weekend and had such a great time. The photos truly do not do this place justice. The home is adorable, very clean, and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There were plenty of extra bedding and towels, and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking.It is a shared property, but you hardly notice it at all. The goats and geese were such a fun surprise and made our mornings even better. We will definitely be back.
