The open-concept living area is designed for comfort and connection, with cozy seating perfect for movie nights, reading, or simply relaxing after a day on the beach. The room was pretty clean and the process was fairly simple. We loved the views of the room and the spacious feeling of it. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need which is nice. There wasn't a lot of people so we didn’t have to wait long for elevators or carts. The bed was extremely hard and not too comfy-blanket was as thin as sheet. The couch is also quite uncomfortable. We got down to the beach early every morning which made it nice because by 11:30/noon that beach was extremely packed! The most crowded of any of the places we have ever stayed-that’s because the harbor side of Sandestin comes right next to it. The beachside buildings barely had anyone staying in them so I couldn’t imagine if they were full how much more crowded it could’ve been. It was literally people right on top of you, again the most crowded of all the places we have stayed in Destin/Mirmar. For that reason we probably wouldn’t stay in Sandestin again unless it was a killer deal. Also the Sandestin bay wharf area where they have restaurants, stores, and activities- they charge you an extra resort fee. Seems silly to me to pay an extra fee to use the resort services that you paid for already.

This specific unit was wonderful and also dealing with Gibson rentals was a pleasure. From booking the unit, to check in, to check out they were so helpful and always available. The unit itself was beach front and was stocked, clean and ready to go. Me and my family will absolutely becoming back!

I used to come to this property years ago and loved it due to being so clean and great atmosphere . The room was still that way. The pool deck was another story. Had constant ant problems at all areas we tried to sit on lounges or chairs. The beach area had quite a bit of litter. The strangest thing was overall the people there (staff, many visitors, and locals) were not very friendly. It’s the only place I’ve ever met a rude Chick Fila group. We went to the Beach House restaurant and although they weren’t busy waited over an hour for food. Saw the waitress all of 3 times. 2 by request of other staff over a 90 minute period. The hostess was pretty awesome and had a great attitude. She actually gave us most of what we needed and was great with kids. Overall it seemed like a lot of hype for an experience that took forever for anything. Went to Perdido Key last month and in general it was a more pleasant fun experience with nice people. Everything provided by the rental company was easy as far as check in/out process.
