Creekfront Cabin Sauna & Hot Tub Hikers Hollow

Top rated by guests
Walk up the stone path lit by the lamp posts as the sun goes down over the trees. The porch and windows glow once the lights click on, giving you a warm spot to unwind after a day outside.
Cook up a meal on the range and plate it at the counter, then eat at the pine table with the red chairs. Shelves hold the dishes and mugs you need, plus a toaster oven and microwave for quick snacks or late night bites.
Fire up the gas range under the hood and rinse produce at the sink with the gold faucet. Open a bottle of wine on the counter and let the skylight bring in daylight while you cook up something on the tile backsplash counters.
Reach for glasses and plates off the open shelves, or grab a knife from the rack for prep work. The drawer fridge and freezer under the counter keep drinks and food cold, with salt, pepper, and a coffee press within reach.
The hot tub sits on a stone patio near a fire pit, with the woods providing a private backdrop for a soak under the stars.

About this cabin rental

“Hiker’s Hollow is an absolute gem. Tucked away in the woods, where the only sounds you’ll hear are the chirping of birds and steady flow of the creek, it is a sanctuary. The amenities of the place are wonderful, with a beautiful sauna, ample fire pits, a hot tub, and so much more. The home itself is incredibly warm, cozy and well decorated.” That’s how a guest described this 1940s cabin on three wooded acres, with inviting spaces inside and plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

While I will not be available in person, you can contact me through the booking channel.

Cuddebackville offers a quiet, simple escape where life slows down and nature takes center stage. Nestled along the scenic Neversink River, it’s perfect for kayaking, fishing, or simply unwinding by the water. Surrounded by peaceful landscapes, nearby hiking trails, and local farms, it’s an ideal getaway for those looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy the understated charm of upstate New York.

You have exclusive use of the entire cabin, front porch, outdoor dining area, hot tub, sauna, converted-garage gym, creek, and approximately three private acres during your stay. The creek, sauna, picnic table, and one fire pit are across the road from the cabin, down a path into the trees. Self check-in is provided through the smart lock, with driveway parking for four vehicles. Two cleaning closets remain locked and are not available for guest use.

Hikers Hollow sits on more than three wooded acres and has earned over 195 five-star reviews. Original wood paneling, exposed beams, and a large picture window preserve the cabin’s 1940s character.

The main level includes the mudroom, kitchen, dining area, one bedroom, and a full bathroom. There are also two separate living rooms: one with a working fireplace and smart TV, and a sunlit second living room with a wood-burning stove.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom sits under skylights. A third bedroom has its own staircase off the kitchen, while a separate reading room with a door has a work desk and full-size sofa bed.

Outside, the stone patio and front porch provide seating for morning coffee. Behind the cabin, the year-round hot tub sits near the grill, outdoor dining area, and fire pit. Across the road, a path leads into the trees to the creekside hangout with a custom wood-fired sauna, picnic table, and second fire pit. String lights illuminate the outdoor spaces after dark.

Beyond the property, D&H Canal Park is about 11 minutes away, while Bashakill Wildlife Management Area is roughly 15 minutes away for longer trails, wetlands, and wildlife. Dollar General is the closest place for groceries.

Hikers Hollow is so incredibly lovely. We started a yearly girl's trip to go to this cabin because it's just perfect-- the wood burning sauna is especially wonderful and nestled in the woods next to a river. It's the perfect place to get away from everything for a nice reset. Booking is easy and the hosts are super accommodating. Thank you!

We could not have selected a more perfect location for much needed respite, relaxation and reconnection. The sauna and hot tub took the entire experience to the next level! Owners were very responsive and trusting. We had a blast and plan to return.

We really enjoyed our winter getaway weekend at Hikers Hollow. Arriving later on a Thursday night we appreciated the little things: all the paths had been shoveled including down to the Sauna, the extra propane tank for the grill, the firewood stacked and covered, and the firestarter sticks (plenty). While the kitchen and bathroom were smaller they were setup well and accommodated six people comfortably and had everything we needed. The sauna and hot tub worked great and were definitely unique highlights. Looking up at the stars with snow falling in the hot tub, and pulling creek water straight out for the sauna was total relaxation with privacy. Would definitely recommend Hikers Hollow!
