Built in 1927 as a place of worship, the church has been lovingly transformed into a warm and welcoming home. Inside, you’ll find soaring ceilings, original stained-glass windows, rich timber panelling, and even the original confessional - now a whimsical design feature. The open-plan living space is bathed in natural light and styled by Belle Hemming with a mix of vintage and contemporary furnishings, creating a space that feels both soulful and serene.
Perfect for couples, families, or small groups, The Church at Lyonville features:
• Three beautifully appointed bedrooms (including a loft overlooking the nave)
• A fully equipped kitchen and generous dining area
• A comfortable living space with large wood fire
• A cozy sitting room with reading nook

An idyllic stay. The accommodation lived up to every expectation! The bedrooms, the styling, every nook was perfectly curated and a pleasure to occupy. The kitchen was very well equiped. So well, we decided to stay in on a cold night with the fire and a casserole. Loved every aspect of our stay.

It is as good as it looks. Ever looked at a church conversion and wondered- well this is the chance- it won’t disappoint. Nor will you want for close encounters every day with kookas, cockies and kangas. Relax in nature in this fantastically comfortable boutique country dwelling. Loved it
