Gloria is a great place to stay when you have a big group. It was very spacious and very close to the pool. Golf cart was great and allowed for ease while visiting the area. Bedrooms all had very comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped with most everything we neededBeach access was best for us by going to Deer Lake State Park which is just a short golf cart ride from the house. It was not overcrowded as they only allow a certain amount of vehicles to access this location which made for a great beach experience where we did not feel like we were packed in. The walk to the beach from the parking lot is .28 miles so bring a beach wagon! And we only saw the access gate closed one day so it appears to not fill up as much as other reviews I have seen stated. The location of Gloria is great because you are close to the big chill and a short drive to other areas. We would definitely stay here again!!Great time was had by all!!

Very responsive owner. On site maintenance was quick and friendly. Location was great. Easy and quick drive to Deer Lake State Park beach. Bikes and LSV were extremely useful. There were lots of teens/young college aged kids late at night looking for a place to hang out. They weren’t an issue except one night ten to twelve of them wanted to start a fight in the street. My brother had to threaten to call police to get them to disperse. Security here is quite good and we never felt unsafe. I think posting a security number would be helpful for future tenants just in case. I’m sure our late night experience was a rare occurrence here. So many families with young kids. Plenty of activities at the Big Chill between shopping, playing on the grassy lawn or catching a family meal and a movie. We were usually at the beach!

Beautiful house; everything was clean and as expected for our large group. Fun to be located in walking distance to the Big Chill and easy to go east or west to the other areas either by bike or car. Our group enjoyed our time there!

The property was VERY clean and offered ample space for our party of 18. The main gathering area was also plenty large enough for all of us to cook and then eat together. Our kids, ages 8, 6, 6, 5, 4, 3 loved the bunk room! My only complaint is that it is on the third floor, and there is not adequate lighting in the stairwell, nor a rail on the right side for when they might wake up in the middle of the night and come walking down the steps. We had a few small falls.Lack of beach access was a definite hardship with that many little children. You have to drive down to Deer State Lake Park and then walk a solid three minutes on a bridge before getting to the beach or you have to drive down to Walton Dunes access and hope that there is parking in the small public parking spot. Overall, it is a fantastic place to stay if you don’t mind the walk and parking issues for beach access.
