About this house rental
Kamilo 331 is a resort home offering 4 luxurious bedrooms and a private solar heated pool and waterfall spa. Kamilo 331 is one of the few Hoku B floor plan models, the largest and highest-priced home available in the Kamilo community. This single-level family home boasts over 3,000 square feet of living space, a detached guest house and a large covered outdoor lanai overlooking the pool. The home is an entertainers delight and features designer furnishings and artwork in a sophisticated coastal theme. Taking luxury and convenience to new heights, guests may also rent the 4-bedroom home next door (Kamilo 329) for two side-by-side vacation homes that check all the boxes.
Features of the Home:
The main home boasts a large living space with pocket doors to open to the outdoors and views of the Francis I'i Brown North Course and the Kohala Mountains. The gourmet kitchen is stocked with high-end cookware, a wine fridge and both formal and informal dining options. There are 2 en suite master bedrooms and a third en suite bedroom with two twin beds that can be combined into a king-size bed on request. The detached guest house is it's own private master with a king-size bed, large television, en suite bathroom with rain shower. Guests can take advantage of the comfort and privacy of this superb vacation home as well as complimentary access to the fabulous 2-acre recreation area with a private fitness center, lap pool, BBQ pavilion and family pool.
The Kamilo development is comprised of single-family & paired homes on the Mauna Lani Resort and offers the best of both worlds with private vacation homes where you can relax and unwind, plus a community recreation center that will exceed your expectations. All guests who stay at Kamilo at Mauna Lani will have access to use the communal facilities which includes an adults-only lap pool, a state-of-the-art private gym, an adults-only hot plunge and shower facilities. There is a second, larger family pool with a shallow end for small children, a hot tub and a large pavilion area with community gas BBQ's (reserved with the Resident Manager for outdoor cookouts).
**Guests staying at KaMilo 331 may enjoy complimentary access during their stay to the Mauna Lani Wellness Center and Tennis Club, which features a fully equipped fitness center, lap pool, large gym, locker rooms, five tennis courts (including three lighted courts), and four pickleball courts. Additional classes, such as beach yoga, may also be available for an additional fee. The current membership is valid through 10/01/26 and must be renewed annually by the property owner. Membership may be discontinued without notice.

The house is lovely and was clean with all the extras (dishes, pool towels, etc). The descriptions are accurate and this is a good location. Not a lot in the surrounding area for amenities but perfect for a nice, relaxing stay. Lots of restaurants and shopping about a 45 minute drive away. The pool was heated and the home was very private and quiet. We had some minor maintenance issues but were happy with the property managers resolution. Overall a great home and stay!

The four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms were perfect for our family. The family with the preschooler had the guest house and that worked out great for them as they could put her to bed earlier or give her quiet time away from the activity of the rest of the family.
The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day of our stay. We all prefer softer beds than the house has so that would be the only thing we would change. But, we'd return next time we go to the Big Island.
