Just one block from the French Quarter & two blocks from the Mississippi River, this modern studio apartment is a perfect location to enjoy both the heart of Frenchmen St & the French Quarter. Also enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river, walking through the famous French Market or hop on a streetcar to Canal street & visit Harrah's, Canal Place/Riverwalk Malls, Aquarium, & numerous dining options.
The Space:
3rd floor studio apartment with a kitchenette, queen bed & walk in shower. Recently updated with memory foam mattress, ROKU TV, all new bedding & towels.

The building is three stories & composed of 5 rental units: 2 Studios, 2 one-bedrooms & a three-bedroom unit. A tattoo shop is on the first floor.
For drivers, there is a parking lot around the corner, at 2135 Decatur St, between Elysian & Frenchmen, rates are about $20/day. Another option would be finding parking along the street. Available Parking can usually be found along Elysian St & St. Peter. Some streets are pay to park others are free.

The Neighborhood:
The offbeat Marigny district is known for its Cajun bistros, bohemian bars and jazz clubs, especially along Frenchmen Street. Sidewalk musicians and brass bands add a block party vibe to the nighttime Frenchmen Art Market, which sells local artwork and handicrafts. Quieter spots include Washington Square where the lawns are shaded by old oak trees. The Marigny Opera House offers an eclectic program

This spot is highly walkable but if transportation is needed- Uber/Lyft/Cab, Streetcar, Pedi-cabs & bike rentals are nearby.

This beautiful property is located right in the heart of Frenchmen St music scene. You can open your window and take in all the action from above and still feel immersed without having to be out if you choose. You are nestled into this lively and bustling area, in a room that is stylishly decorated and comfortable. The hosts were communicative and accommodating. You can't go wrong in this room.

Very clean and comfortable. The unit is within walking distance of all we wanted to see and do during our stay. The music on Friday night got pretty loud into the wee hours, but was expected considering the location on Frenchman street.

The room was great, definitely some stairs to go up but a great location. The bed and pillows were amazing compared to most other places I’ve stayed and certainly better than most hotels. The host was very communicative. Easy to get in and out. Parking was a bit expensive since it was during Jazz Fest but just right around the corner. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Awesome location - felt very secure - great neighborhood for so much jazz - The Rambler the bar next door made us feel like regulars - was able to book a couple great walking tours that started so close - walking distance to Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde, Bourbon St fun, Preservation Hall, etc - easy Ubers to Garden District and WW2 museum
