About this house rental
Twenty minutes from downtown Kansas City and the sports stadiums! Located in a small town with all the amenities and just minutes from the city with shopping and entertainment. Situated between Watkins Mill State Park and Smithville Lake for outdoor enthusiasts. Check out local trails for hiking and a paved four mile loop right in town. Plenty of local options for eating and several cute boutiques within walking distance. Enjoy the splash park in the summer and Fun Farm Pumpkin Patch all fall! This home also offers a two car garage with handicap accessible ramp into the house. Large doorways throughout the house and extra holds in bathroom for assistance into shower with bench. Master bedroom has private entry with deck overlooking wooded back yard.

The house is tucked in a quiet location. My husband and I walked down town and bought some bakery goods one morning and the next morning by the golf course. The house was clean and fit our needs for this short trip. There were only 4 of us, but plenty of room if there had been 6. The outdoor patio and deck are small with little to no seating. We did bring our own grill as there was not one listed. All the little extra items from coffee, soaps, detergent, and more were nice. Janell was very easy to work with and kept in good contact with us, even after my son left clothes in the dryer upon leaving. The location was our most important reason for choosing this house as it was close to my son’s work and Kansas City. There are many updates I feel needed inside the house, but overall comfortable clean, and well suitable for our stay. There are also several boutiques in town that are really cute! We came home with some goodies! The welcome book also gives ideas of what is around or close by. If my son remains in this area, I would stay here again. Thank you again , Janell.

This place was conveniently located in town. It could really use some maintenance regarding the master bedroom floor. We didnt wear shoes in the house since we don't wear shoes in our home, but each night our feet were black.
