Facing the Pacific,
Spanning approximately 300 m², Sol-E-Mar was designed as a home that opens generously onto the Pacific. Architecture, natural materials, and tropical vegetation come together around a spectacular view of Uvita Bay, the iconic Whale’s Tail, and, in the distance, Corcovado.

At the heart of the villa, a spacious semi-covered patio naturally extends the living areas towards the private infinity pool and the ocean.
The fully equipped kitchen, lounge, and dining areas have been designed to offer equally enjoyable indoor and outdoor living.

Sol-E-Mar accommodates up to 10 guests across three bedrooms: two bedrooms with King-size beds and one spacious bedroom with two Queen-size beds and a sofa bed. All of them open onto the Pacific.

Carved doors, natural wood, antique furniture, artworks, and handcrafted pieces give the villa its distinctive character, with every detail carefully selected.

Beyond Sol-E-Mar, the experience continues throughout the estate: tropical gardens, a rancho, a scenic lookout, a private waterfall, and an outdoor play area invite guests of all ages to discover the property throughout their stay. In addition to its own private infinity pool, Sol-E-Mar offers access to another pool overlooking the Pacific beside the open-air Rancho.
The rancho will charm you with its appeal and location, inviting you to escape and relax.

Access by car:
The property is accessible by regular car. The last few metres are along an unpaved road. An SUV or 4x4 is advisable for greater comfort and recommended during the rainy season.

Housekeeping:
For a completely relaxing stay, Sol-E-Mar benefits from daily housekeeping service.

Wi-Fi & connectivity:
High-speed fibre-optic Wi-Fi, backed up by Starlink to provide the most reliable connection possible throughout your stay.

Laundry area:
A laundry area equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, iron and laundry detergent is available on the property for your needs during your stay.

To enhance your experience, several services can be arranged upon request:

and preparations for special occasions such as a birthday or marriage proposal.
Breakfasts must be booked the previous day before 3–4 p.m.; special events should ideally be arranged at least one month in advance.

Between Dominical and Uvita

You are approximately 4 minutes from Playa Hermosa, 5–7 minutes from Dominicalito and the beaches of Dominical, 7 minutes from central Dominical and 10 minutes from Uvita.

Marino Ballena National Park is approximately 12–13 minutes away, Nauyaca Waterfalls 30–35 minutes away and Manuel Antonio approximately 45 minutes away.
Restaurants, supermarkets and shops are just a few minutes away.

How to get here
From Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José, you can reach the area by rental car or book a shuttle service.
You can also take a domestic flight from San José to Quepos, then continue to the property by rental car, Uber or taxi. Depending on our availability and with prior agreement, a transfer from Quepos may sometimes be arranged.
