Charming apartment in an historical building in the heart of the city.
The apartment is located on the second floor of an historical building that, thanks to the renovation in 2012, retrieved its original splendour: Palazzo Chiarandà, a noble building totally restored with a huge entrance and antique decor.
It boasts many high-quality decors, from high ceilings to balcony railings and wood beams of the bedroom on the mezzanine floor. The whole property is enriched with classic elements that the owner desired to add.
The entrance gives space to a large and bright living area, furnished with a sofa, armchairs and a workstation, in addition to a dining area. There is also access to the independent and fully equipped kitchen, provided also with an oven, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. On the same floor guests will find the main bedroom, finely furnished with a queen-sized bed, together with a full bathroom with shower. Finally, walking up the staircase in the living area they will access the large mezzanine floor that houses a second bedroom with a french-sized bed that can accommodate a couple or two youths, and provided with a private bathroom with shower.
*The staircase to the mezzanine floor does not come with a banister, therefore the apartment is not appropriate for families with children aged less than 12 years.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

In this regard, tourists can take part in the "Baroque itinerary of Palermo' to visit the main monuments of the city, such as the Church of the Holy Savior, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to participate in the "Tour of the Historical Markets of Palermo' which will allow guests to explore the markets of Ballarò and Capo. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch or snack time, it is strictly required to taste the dishes with your hands only! This tour will also give tourists the opportunity to admire prominent buildings, streets and squares.
The train Central Station is 5 minutes walking distance and is the end of line of trains and buses from/to the airport.

DEFINITELY would stay again. We had an issue communicating since I do not use "what's app". Also there was only one key available which made it difficult for two couples to separate touring around Palermo.Very clean. Showers were wonderful. Host was elsewhere so when there was a power failure it was an interesting chore to reset 3 switches. Location was great however for some it was a bit noisy from a very pedestrian street. Apartment was very well appointed and decorated

The location was right in the middle of everything we needed to be a part of (restaurants, bars, social gatherings, and public transport). Very easy to find and very safe area. Highly recommended to any traveler looking for a place to stay in Palermo.

This was a great location for visiting the old part of Palermo. Easy walk to the train. Large and comfortable. No toilet paper and TV didn’t work. But it was great otherwise.

A very nice looking apartment, but there are some issues which we have passed onto Wonderful Italy to address. The apartment is on floor 2, if using the stairs be careful of the half-step on that floor. My wife didn't see it and almost did a head plant into the wall. Use the elevator as much as possible. There are lots of trinket shops in the immediate area, not many places to eat. Restaurants are further down the street.Not really set up for cooking meals, no condiments were provided. Large spaces, bed was good, could have used an extra blanket. Be careful of the shower floor, very very slippery. Furniture was very old.Overall we liked the apartment.
