Tucked away in a wooded valley at the head of a tidal creek running up from the Camel River, Creekside, a semi-detached holiday home, has direct access to the creek via the deck area at the rear of the cottage. It is ideally situated in the Cornish hamlet of Little Petherick. Footpaths lead in all directions down the creek to the river and along the waters edge to Padstow. The Saints Way, a famous walk, runs directly outside the cottage linking the north and south coast. Just 10 minutes by car you are in Padstow, with its winding streets, quaint fishing harbour, excellent pubs and restaurants. There are several sandy beaches close by. Ideal at any time of year, with high efficiency electric storage heaters, this is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring the area. Shops 3 miles, pub 1 mile.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Creekside. Bearing in mind there were only 2 of us and we stayed outside school holidays it suited us perfectly and had all the amenities we needed (there was no dishwasher, though this was not a deal changer given there were only 2 of us.)The house and surroundings were so quiet and we got to see four egrets and a kingfisher and other wildlife from the rear balcony. Would we stay again?? Yes, certainly!

Perfectly peaceful holiday cottage in a tranquil location. It was in a lovely setting beside a stream which turned into a creek with the incoming tide. This attracted a wide selection of wildlife from the ducks to numerous species of birds & fish, plus the odd paddle boarder & kayaker. The cottage was very comfortable with a beautiful decked area overlooking the stream. With parking alongside the cottage & rear side access for ease of loading & unloading, it really was the ideal holiday location within a 2 mile walking distance to Padstow if you follow the Saints Way or a little longer by road. Would highly recommend it for a totally relaxing break with an excellent choice of beaches to enjoy.

We can’t fault Creekside at all - there was a very thoughtful and appreciated welcome pack, and the property had all the facilities that we could need.We absolutely loved the decking area - it was so peaceful, and so lovely to sit by the creek and watch the wildlife. We really hope to be back sometime!
