The Bothy is a beautiful and comfortable space with quality fixtures and fittings and very comfortable beds. Very clean and welcoming overall and some generous welcome gifts which were appreciated. A grab rail in the bathrooms/wet rooms would be a useful safety feature together with a shelf for washbags - this would be especially useful in the second bathroom as the floor gets very wet after a shower! It might be helpful to specify that access to the 2nd bathroom is through the main lounge and the kitchen, quite far from the 2nd bedroom. Overall, however, a lovely stay. Thank you

This is a very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a good location on the edge of the Lakes. We’d recommend it.

Stayed for a long weekend with my husband. Property big enough for a family. Beautifully furnished & equipped with everything you could need. Situated on a working farm in the middle of the countryside. The Bothy caters for a fabulously relaxing holiday/break a stones throw away from Carlisle & Penrith, with lots to explore in the Lake District. The hosts Richard & Alison are lovely & Alison is very helpful with any queries you may have.
Would highly recommend.

The property was absolutely perfect. Well equipped and very attentive owners. Everything was kept to a very high standard and was perfectly located to visit local attractions.
