The quaint resort offers a traditional coastal town with fishing, swimming, boating, fossil hunting and scenic coastal walking along this beautiful coastline, and within easy driving there are many attractions to visit and enjoy. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The Lodge is beautifully clean , well equipped and with access to a lovely garden and views of all the inquisitive wildlife .. We enjoyed the walk along the River Lim to Lyme Regis and onwards to a walk along the coastal path and back to Uplyme. There isn't much in Uplyme , but Lyme Regis is close , especially by car , where we found very good restaurants . We had a fabulous weekend break and would highly recommend the Lodge.

As a couple, this place was the ideal size in an area we love to visit. It was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. It has a nice view over the large garden, in which deer can sometimes be seen!The amenities of Lyme Regis are a short drive / half hour walk down the hill.

Well I think as it was our 19th visit that speaks for itself. Fantastic as always, a perfect space to unwind and recharge your batteries. Lots of wildlife to see in the garden with all sorts of birds on the feeders and the special treat if you are lucky the deer family, lots of squirrels too. The Talbot Arms do great meals but you have to book early for a Sunday lunch. There is a gentle walk along the river down to Lyme Regis just a little harder coming back up but not as hard as the road way. We hopefully will be back soon.

A perfect weekend spent in an idyllic spot. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Friendly owners and we had such a lovely relaxing weekend.
