About this docked boat rental
During the summer months, the AquariHus is moored in the Melle, a picturesque arm of the Achterwasser; during the winter months, it is moored in the harbor of Loddin. As part of the rental agreement, the AquariHus is not intended to leave its berth.
The AquariHus is equipped with 2 berths, a separate toilet and shower, and a spacious salon with a galley area. A covered terrace measuring just under 10 square meters with a lounge sofa invites you to linger.
Loddiner Höft is a scenic peninsula jutting into the Achterwasser on the Baltic Sea island of Usedom. From the cliffs, you have an impressive view across the Achterwasser. The natural harbor of Melle, a picturesque arm of the Achterwasser, separates the peninsula from Ückeritz.
Some say: “Loddiner Höft and the seaside resort of Loddin/Kölpinsee are, in a sense, a ‘miniature version’ of the Baltic Sea island of Usedom. Here, nearly all the landscapes that characterize the entire island can be found within a small area.” The wide Baltic Sea beach with steep and flat coastlines, the Kölpinsee lake behind it, steep and flat coastlines facing the Achterwasser, small sandy beaches, rolling hills, forests, and a diverse array of flora & fauna. It is therefore no surprise that many visitors are convinced that Loddiner Höft is the most beautiful landscape on the island of Usedom.”
