Brotes is our secret Tuscan hideaway, a winery estate in the heart of the Montagnola Senese, a protected natural area near Siena where vineyards and olive groves blend into ancient forests. Here, you can truly hear the silence, let nature set the pace, and experience the freedom of being far from it all.
At 580 meters above sea level, the estate stands on a hill surrounded by centuries-old chestnut trees. Getting here is part of the journey: the iconic strade bianche wind through woods, vineyards, and olive groves, revealing a different side of Tuscany at every turn.
Brotes offers three independent apartments, all accessible by stairs. Ciliegio also has a private entrance for extra privacy and autonomy. The interiors are spacious and welcoming, with the large bedroom standing out for its exceptional size, tranquility, and true comfort.
Wake up among woods and vineyards. Enjoy the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, stroll among the olive trees, and watch the last light transform the hills.
Brotes is also a place to share. Gather around the table, open a bottle of our wine, and savor a leisurely dinner as the sun sets. Walk through the vineyards and olive groves, discover our homemade wine and olive oil, or, in season, visit the vegetable garden and pick something fresh for your meal. These small experiences let you truly live Tuscany from within.
Siena is just 25 minutes away, with Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, and Volterra within easy reach.
We are in a protected natural area without door-to-door waste collection; we appreciate your help in taking waste to the nearby collection points.

Pros: The property was incredible. So much space for relaxation. Amenities were good as well. Kitchen, washing machine, pool and more! Miriana was a lovely host. She made us welcome from the moment we arrived, and allowed us space to enjoy our stay. She shared a list of reccomendations for restaurants which also came in handy for our stay. Thank you very much, and hope to return one day in the future!
