About this cottage rental

Newly rebuilt cottage on the Barton River with Trout fishing. Stroll through organic gardens with a small seasonal farmstand and chickens for fresh daily eggs. After your daily adventures, sit a chair in the crystal clear river in the back yard to relax at your home base. Table chairs and fire pit at the river. Grocery, restaurants, Ice Cream Stands and Crystal Lake within 1/2 mile, all in a fully walking quaint VT town. Lake Willoughby beach and it's hiking trails 7 miles. Barton Fairgrounds end of the street for Fair fun and regular horse pulls. Located between Jay Peak and Burke Mtn for winter fun/skiing. Orleans & Barton Golf within 10 minutes. Spring 2025 EV bikes rental for cottage guests...grab a picnic lunch and explore!

We stayed in the cottage during the third weekend of October, yet the foliage was still beautiful. We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including heating and a nice fireplace. Highly recommend!

My friends and I were looking for an affordable getaway and we found it! A lovely little cottage and the owner was very nice! The space was clean and comfortabe. Would definitely stay here again!
