About this house rental
This beautiful three-bedroom cottage is built from old sandstone from the original settlers to Kangaroo Island. It combines the gorgeous views of Snellings Beach and the surrounding bush. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom which is very handy for larger groups. Two king bedrooms and one twin single bedroom, plenty of space for the family. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs and located so you don't miss what's going on in the rest of the house.
With views of native bush gardens, rolling hills, and the ocean only 150 meters away, you’re sure to start to unwind. Afternoon drinks on your own private deck or a good brandy by the open fire? The choice is yours.

This renovated house was lovely and in an ideal location with a view towards Snelling Beach and only a short walk to the beach. Quiet, remote spot which we loved, kangaroos around. Very clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. For me the main thing that detracted from an otherwise nearly perfect house was the lack of doors on the ensuite bathrooms - the bedroom doors could be locked for privacy but not the ensuites themselves - one had swing doors, the others no doors at all. This means lights and noise can disturb others when in the same bedroom at night. Also I was not comfortable with the fully transparent windows (no blinds) of the two ensuite bathrooms without doors, even though they faced the back of the house where nobody was likely to be. If staying again I might bring something to block them!

We loved our time at Settler’s Cottage.The views were absolutely beautiful, over looking the beach and bay. We loved the ambiance and layout of the house, with its cosy fire, the artwork and photos on the walls, and the spacious kitchen that had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful house in Snellings Beach. Perfect location, and spotless! Gorgeous beach, perfect for sunrise or sunset. Kangaroos outside everyday.
