This room is a part of the Sunset Motel located directly across from Lake Pepin in Lake City, MN. The hotel consists of traditional single and double motel rooms, a 3 bedroom house, and 2-3 bedroom condo units. All of the units have shared access to our heated in-ground pool. All rooms have recently been equipped with electronic locks for a seamless check-in process. We are centrally located near some of the area's best attractions including public beach access, top restaurants, golf courses, and marinas.

Such a cute motel! Appeared to be recently remodeled and has a fabulous retro vibe. We loved the proximity to downtown Lake City and local establishments including the cutest and delicious little diner Heidi’s Hug a Mug cafe. Further, we had a fabulous lake view we could enjoy on the patio in our colorful Adirondack chairs. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room clean. Our host was incredibly responsive as well. When we expressed a need for additional towels, they were promptly delivered to our room. Would definitely stay here again!

All we were looking for was a clean, comfortable place to sleep for the night. This worked very well. Quiet and comfortable.

Nicely done updated motel. Very comfortable & clean!
Only thing missing was a little bedside lamp but certainly not the most important feature.
