About this house rental

Summary:

Enjoy the modern Teakettle Cabin with gorgeous views in a serene setting. A 2-bedroom peaceful retreat with up-to-date amenities, it's perfect for a relaxing vacation! Just 30 minutes from Glacier National Park and 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish, this cabin is conveniently located near world-class rafting, hiking, skiing, fishing and iconic landmarks. At the end of the day, enjoy a soak in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit on your private patio. Your Montana adventure starts here!

The Space:

Upon walking in, you will be greeted with large windows viewing the peaceful, rural area. The main area includes a living / kitchen area. The living area offers a comfortable couch, chair, and small side table along with a smart TV. The kitchen boosts ample counter space with a double-burner stovetop, fridge, microwave, toaster oven (no full-size stove/oven), dishwasher plus many small kitchen appliances and essentials to accommodate all of your needs.

Beyond the common area, a spacious bathroom with large walk-in shower allows for all guests to access. Continuing on, a well-appointed master bedroom complete with a comfortable king-size bed and large picturesque windows, contribute to the tranquility. The second bedroom off the common area, opposite to the master, offers a queen size bed as well as the large floor-to-ceiling windows present throughout the home. There are full shades in the bedrooms for better sleep and privacy.

The sliding glass door guides you to the private patio where you will find the private hot tub and sauna, firepit with wood, BBQ with propane - all to round out your stay in this serene setting.

While the location is rural, there are other cabins and farms in the area. It is not secluded. A privacy fence is located on the edge and all the windows and patio have unobstructed scenic views with frequent visits from deer and turkeys.

Guest Access:

The entire space is yours to enjoy.

The Neighborhood:

Conveniently located to many of the area’s amazing natural attractions, you are 30 minutes from Glacier National Park (west entrance), 25 minutes from the ski slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort and approximately 40 minutes to Flathead Lake. The home is centrally located between Whitefish and Columbia Falls off of Highway 40, yet a world apart with it’s quiet charming vibe. The nearest airport, Glacier Park International (FCA), is about 5 miles away.

The area is a haven for recreational activities in any season and an all-around travelers’ paradise. Check out all the Flathead Valley has to offer in Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Bigfork, Lakeside, Somers plus more.

Getting Around:

Due to the location and the relatively small population size of the area, there is not public transport options. Finding a ride with services like Lyft and Uber are a good choice but can vary in availability. Other options may may be available depending on the time of year and weather conditions.

Other Things to Note:

While the location is rural, there are other cabins and farms in the area. It is not secluded. There are automated blinds and frosted glass in the home allowing privacy. A small hill with new trees is intended to enhance privacy as well as the trees surrounding. The windows and deck offer scenic views with frequent visits from deer, turkeys and other wildlife.

Please be aware that Montana winter storms can hit hard and fast. You may want to consider renting a four-wheel drive in the winter months depending on your experience with weather conditions. We do have a snow removal company that will take care of plowing the driveway, and we do provide snow shovels and snow melt for use during your stay. Major storms will contribute to the timeliness of plowing so preparing accordingly is key.

The home is stocked with firewood and the private hot tub is open and serviced year-round as well.

Cellular service can be spotty in the area depending on your provider, weather conditions, etc. Generally, the wireless internet service in the house is reliable.

Beyond 5-star experience, as the accommodations are exactly as advertised but even better in person. In addition to a perfectly designed small home, the property is serene yet so conveniently located between anything and everything you can imagine: Kalispell, Whitefish (so quaint), and West Glacier. Thoughtful amenities and features: take advantage of the hot tub, Sauna, and outdoor fire pit!

So quiet and great outdoor area. Deer and turkeys visited on the regular! Decorated wonderfully and great split bedroom layout.

Perfect for our couples trip to MT. The sauna and hot tub were amazing, especially after hiking at GNP. Lots of wild life in the back yard (turkeys, deer and ground squirrels). Beds were comfortable and we all got good sleep each night. Would definitely come back if we ever decide to return!

We arrived at 9:00 p.m. with two very tired children only to find that somebody else was staying in the place we had booked. Fortunately, the property manager was exceedingly helpful, and managed to find a place for us that night. We had to do some shuffling, losing about a day of our vacation, but ultimately ended up in a great place thank you to the property manager. Vrbo, not so much
