First, Vrbo won’t change my email address so communication was an issue. That’s not the host fault. The home is laid out very different but it works. It was very comfortable. And clean! We rented the home for a wedding. 3 couples and the brides parents joined us on Saturday. We were very comfortable in this home. People did complain about the open concept shower in the hall bathroom. The water goes everywhere and it’s not as hot as it should be. Very pretty bathroom. It wouldn’t stop me from renting this home again. There is another shower in a master bedroom down 5 steps. They all could have used that one. So that being said……. I would recommend this home, very comfortable and clean!Btw…..People spoke about the driveway, It is wild! 3 of us have 4 wheel drive. Not a problem but even my friend without 4 wheel drive made it up ok. Just a heads up!

The house was very clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. We had a few visits from cave crickets, but that's to be expected given the location of the home. You definitely need all-wheel drive to get up the driveway. All in all it was a great experience. We will most certainly be reaching out for next year's Mom's weekend again.

Our host didn’t want to clear the driveway so he offered an alternative location. To accommodate his request, we accepted. Upon arrival of the (different) rental, we found this driveway wasn’t cleared of snow either forcing us to buy a shovel to get one of our vehicles into the driveway. Several attempts via phone call and text went unanswered the evening of arrival. We also found that some areas had not been cleaned and the two thermostats were set at 54 and 60. Needless to say, it was very cold when we arrived. When my son tried to use the tub/shower, the valve trim came right off (missing a set screw). All of this was communicated to the host. Instead of an apology, we got simple excuses and assured that the shovel purchase would be reimbursed. I typically don’t review (especially if I wasn’t pleased) but I think others need to know to lower expectations from this host.
