About this cabin rental
That's right, when you stay at Reeves Roost you'll also agree. Dense woods provide privacy and an intimate setting for your complete satisfaction!
Quaintly located on the Toccoa River in the center of the Aska Recreation Area, with beautiful scenic views, you can enjoy everything the river has to offer: swimming, fishing, and our favorite, tubing from right in front of the cabin. Along the river and at the base of our cabin lies a green field decorated by colorful wild flowers a fire pit ,hammock, dinning table and swing. At night, fire flies and stars light up the sky. Sorry, pets are NOT allowed.
Relax in one of the many swings, rocking chairs, or hammocks on the porch, which is nestled high amongst tall pine trees. Plenty of trails are located in the bordering Chattahoochee National Forest, including the Appalachian Trail. Other activities nearby include horseback riding,zip lining, multiple golf courses, whitewater rafting, trout fish hatchery, water falls, and antique shopping. Nearby towns are Blairsville, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Elijay, Helen, and Dillard.

The cabin itself is really cute. There are a few things worth noting that aren’t clearly reflected in the listing.The walk to the river is steep. We didn’t have an issue, but it could be challenging for those traveling with older adults or young children. The driveway is also a bit tricky, and larger vehicles may have difficulty getting in and out.The stairs shown in the listing that appear to lead to the water are no longer there, so direct access to the river from that point isn’t currently possible.On the positive side, the wildlife was truly amazing. We saw many deer on our way to and from activities, and even flying squirrels from the back deck. We spent most of our time there, enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river..it was very relaxing.

Great stay! The cabin was beautiful, the location beautiful and quiet, with the river a comforting tone in the background. The driveway in is a little tricky, ,and if you have a huge car it might be a problem, but this is made clear in the instructions. The single master bedroom is plenty large, and the upstairs loft is spacious, although if other than your kids are staying there they better be good friends. Still, it was a super stay and we did absolutely enjoy it.
