The beach of Kahalu’u less than 5 minutes away is one of the best snorkel beaches on the island with calm water and large populations of fish and sea turtles.
Getting Around:
The home is in close proximity to the vibrant town of Kona, where you will be able to enjoy shopping and world-class dining. The dry, sunny weather near Kona is ideal for visiting one of the many nearby beaches. Kahalu'u has some of the best snorkeling on the island with calm waters and large populations of native sea turtles.

We had a wonderful stay at this home on the Big Island of Hawaii. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway.During our stay, there was a storm that caused a small leak and unfortunately resulted in a broken vase on the master bedroom balcony. While unexpected, it was clearly weather-related and outside of the host’s control.Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. The home, location, and overall experience were excellent!

Loved our stay, wished we could have stayed longer. Home was spacious for 8 adults, 1 toddler and a baby. Pros: beautiful sunset, option to grill out on patio, large dining room table, private pool, enjoyed walking the surrounding neighborhood, kitchen had plenty of cookware, and access to highchair/pack and play. Cons: difficult to contact host, wanted to check in early was given the okay for a 2pm check ion, but gate attendant was not compliant, not disclosed in the property details home is 2 stories, worn down beach chairs we purchased our own and left it at property, contacted host to confirm checkout instructions never heard back. Overall, we would stay again.

The property is spacious and kitchen is well-stocked. There were plenty of beach towels and beach gear in the garage also. We enjoyed the host welcome gift of fruits and macadamia. However, the AC in the 2 rooms downstairs were broken. We called on our first night but no one showed up. We kept calling but the AC did not get fixed until the 3rd night, which was half of the duration of our stay. This made the vacation not as pleasant for the 5 people that are sleeping in the downstairs bedroom.
