Welcome to Grassi Waterview Vacation Rentals at Lake Gaston!
Experience the ultimate family getaway at "Floatin & Boatin," a stunning lakefront home designed for relaxation and adventure. With lake views from almost every room, two fully equipped kitchens, and space to sleep 18 guests, this is the perfect setting for your next multi-generational reunion or trip with friends.
**The "Relax-Ready" Experience**
We handle the heavy lifting so you don't have to. All beds (2 Kings, 3 Queens, 1 Double, and various bunks/sleepers) are made with fresh linens, quilts, and pillows prior to your arrival. Just walk in, drop your bags, and head straight for the water!
*Note: Please remember to bring your own towels, as these are not provided.*
**Main Level Luxury**
The primary suite features a pillow-top King bed, a private balcony for romantic sunsets, and a spa-like ensuite with a massive walk-in rain shower. Two additional guest rooms, a full laundry room, and a vaulted Great Room with a 60" Smart TV ensure everyone stays comfortable. The gourmet kitchen comes stocked with seasonings and essentials (saran wrap, foil, etc.), making meal prep a breeze.
**Lower Level Fun**
The massive Rec Room is an entertainment hub featuring a bar, pool table, and sound system. Kids and adults alike will love the Bonus Game Room, equipped with Ping Pong, Air Hockey, and Darts. A second kitchen on this level keeps snacks and cold drinks within easy reach.
**Outdoor Paradise**
Situated on a private 1+ acre point with over 200 feet of waterfront, our outdoor space offers:
* **The Boathouse:** Boat lift for pontoons (up to 3,000 lbs) and an upper sun deck with a jump gate.
* **Water Toys:** 19' x 6' floating island mat, six kayaks, and two paddleboards included.
* **Evening Vibes:** Lakeside fire pit (wood provided!) and a covered deck with globe string lights.
* **Games Galore:** Horseshoe pits, Giant Jenga, and Corn Hole.

Traveling with a larger group? Ask us about our second property, "Live Edge Lodge," located just four docks away. It sleeps an additional 20 guests with similar high-end amenities!

* **Summer Stays:** Sunday-to-Sunday check-in with a 7-night minimum.
* **Inflatable Rentals:** Ask about our Big Bubba and Spitfire towables ($125/week each or both for $225).
* **Local Perks:** A fishing license is included for dock fishing! We are just minutes from Rosemont Winery, The Honey Hole, and local general stores.

Our first blended family trip was a great success.A big thank you to Edie at Floatin’ and Boatin’ on Lake Gaston for being a fantastic host and providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy a weekend on the water.We spent the weekend kayaking, wakeboarding, swimming, playing games, enjoying good meals, and catching a few fish—although the biggest catfish of the trip managed to get away.The house had everything we needed, but we have to give special recognition to the bed. We travel quite a bit, and it was easily one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. After full days on the lake, there was nothing better than sinking into that bed at night.We truly enjoyed our stay, appreciated the hospitality, and made some great memories along the way. If you’re looking for a place to stay on Lake Gaston, we highly recommend it.Thanks again, Edie!

Since 2016 I started getting my family together in December to have a Christmas gathering. We eat, play games, watch movies and so on. Well this is the second year we’ve done it at Mr. Edie’s home and it was as beautiful this time as it was the first! The pictures don’t do justice of how nice & clean the home is! I wish I had gotten more pics of the home.
