Beautifully appointed house in Healsville, lots of room and very comfortable

House is beautiful. Comfortable beds, crisp white linen, soft fluffy towels. Beautifully decorated. Lots of room for 6 of us. right in town so walk to shops, restaurants etc

The pub opposite was very noisy. Karaoke night until the early hours. Then people making noise as they left. Not the fault of the property as it’s beyond their control. Water pressure in upstairs shower wasn’t very good.

Excellent accommodation to end our two-week road trip through Victoria with life-long friends.

We love old houses with so much character but which still offer the creature comforts. Spacious, with several living rooms and very comfortable king size beds in all 4 bedrooms. We were travelling as three couples so was great for our needs. Heating was excellent, and location in the centre of town was perfect. Nice touch with bottle of wine, chocolate and biscuits on arrival. Communication with property manager was excellent. Also some very good reading books and magazines.

Downstairs bathroom very functional but need to be careful of slippery shower tiles. Upstairs bathroom shower water temperature control was very average. Hot water took long time to come, then very difficult to regulate temperature with the cold water. Only a minor thing - took a while to work out how to regulate the dining room gas heater as no instructions, but easy to do once we had worked it out.

Overall an excellent stay and our certainly would certainly revisit the house without any hesitation

The house was very welcoming and comfortable in an excellent location. On arrival the fires were on and there was a lovely welcoming pack in the kitchen for us. Bathrooms and living areas were perfect and made for a wonderful weekend

The noise from the buses early in the morning were annoying especially for those of use that were light sleepers however this is something to expect when the location is so central to everything.

Great building. Great location. Nice little welcome pack on arrival. Comfy beds.

The instructions for where to park need to be more clear as the say park in the driveway but the driveway is not next to the house.

great location, nice decor, well equipped kitchen and nice compliment bottle of wine, fudge, cookies

we did NOT find the house key in the keypad (the previous guest did not return the key. This should be checked BEFORE our arrival). We had to make several calls and waited outside for the key.

Comfortable, warm and roomy in an excellent central location.

We had an enjoyable stay at McKenzie House. It was comfortable, warm and large enough for our group. The rooms were tastefully done and the location was excellent - very central.

Parking was a little difficult mid week during the day, so possibly an allocated parking space or two would be good. Also, extra pillows on the beds would be good. Other than that excellent accommodation and definitely would go back there again.

Everything, The owner responded immediately to a small hiccup that we had and the home was warm, classy and ideal for us. We loved it and will definitely go back

The house is beautiful and super comfy, clean and tidy, super well located.

No garden or bbq area, just a terrace. A bit noisy at nights as it's close to the road, but nothing that some earplugs can't solve!
