The staff was very helpful with check-in and our questions. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The balcony was also quite large, so we could sit and relax or dry washed clothes there without any problems. There is a washing machine available.
Pool was clean and there was enough space to sit and sunbathe around it.
Buses stop less than 100m from the accommodation and run quite frequently to Gran Baie/Cap Malheureux/Pamplemousses/Triolet.
There are few restaurants in a walking range and all we visited were good. There is a bakery just around the corner and grocery store further away (10 mins).
The area is quite dark at night and the main entrance is open all the time, but in practice we never felt like it was a problem.
Maybe a desk would be helpful if someone needs to do some work (possibly under the TV) instead of the low table, but that is just a small nitpick.
