Lovely rooms, handy location. It was pristine and the staff were lovely.

7 / 10Good·Sep 2026

Good quality furnishings and bathroom.

We were given the top room which was not made clear on booking. The staircase was very steep and narrow, in fact quite dangerous. The building is very near the busy main road, and was extremely noisy as all windows were open because of the heat. The bar area didn’t seem to work well as not separated from restaurant area. There was no one to attend to breakfast apart from a chef who was trying to see to residents and cook the food as well, which left us waiting a long time to get coffee etc and place orders.

Room was really well styled and of ample size and very nicely decorated. A power source near a mirror would have been good. Dinner was delicious.

Breakfast was not great. Only childrens' cereals were offered and the cooked breakfast took a while.

No professional available ...breakfast was a well meaning but fraught occasion ... otherwise OK
