We had the most wonderful stay at Sti Physi in Kefalonia. This is so much more than a holiday villa – it truly feels like a home away from home.
The owners are lovingly restoring the property, with a real focus on sustainability and character, using beautifully recycled and repurposed furniture throughout. Every detail feels thoughtful and personal, making it feel completely different from a commercial holiday rental.
The villa is peaceful, welcoming and comfortable, and the pool is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment we arrived, Sophia made us feel so at home with the warmest welcome and even some lovely food waiting for us.
By the end of our stay, we genuinely felt like we were leaving a friend behind – and we’re still in touch with the wonderful Sophia!
If you're looking for somewhere peaceful, authentic and full of warmth and character, Sti Physi is a must-stay. Be warned though… it is incredibly hard to say goodbye when it’s time to leave! ❤️

Location a little bit remote (a car is needed) but we studied the map before and we chosen it on purpose and knew this already as we are at the age when appreciate more peaceful and quiet locations also in the same time with easy access to enough beaches, supermarkets, airport and Argostoli, all in range of 10-15 minutes (with car). A nice taverna is about 800 meters.
The villa was clean and is very nice and comfortable, spacious (it`s not well enough advertised by photos); a big plus were the four bathrooms (three of them with showers) that were not cramped. The pool was very clean and well maintained and the area around it also well organised. The beds for us seemed comfortable.
The host is very supportive and nice.
We really felt very well in this location.
The location is new renovated so couple utilities aren`t there yet (hairdryer, washing machine, dishwasher, ironing) but to be fair the description of facilities is accurate and these are not mentioned into it and the host told us that it is an ongoing process of updating.

The villa is absolutely amazing inside and out. Inside, everything is like brand new, spotlessly clean. 3 double size bedrooms each with own shower/toilet, perfect. Pool and garden area are magnificent with areas of shade from the glorious ancient olive trees and views from the gazebo down through the olive groves and across to the mountain. The villa is close to a main road(but no road noise at the villa) and not difficult to find. 15 minute drive to beaches and Argostoli. Sofia was fantastic from the moment we booked until the moment we left.
Nothing was too much trouble for her and the little extra things she did for us really made our holiday extra nice. Thanks Sofia.
There was nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect.
