It pains me to write this review—not because there is anything wrong with this place, but because there is so much right with it. The last thing I want is for everyone else to discover this little gem and make it harder for us to book again! Unfortunately, it is simply too good not to recommend.
The room is warm, cosy and bijou, with a kitchen area equipped with everything you could need to cater for yourself—from an air fryer right down to a pair of scissors. It is a wonderfully well-equipped little retreat.
The bed is beautifully comfortable, and there is a perfect area for letting your dog run loose. Our only complaint is that we would rather keep somewhere this lovely to ourselves.
As if that were not enough, there is a fantastically tasty Indian takeaway just 250 metres away. Frankly, this place is making it very difficult to find any reason not to return.
Julie and Paul are the perfect hosts and made us feel exceptionally welcome. We cannot recommend this place highly enough—even if we do slightly resent letting the secret out. A perfect find, and somewhere we would love to book again. Just leave a gap in the calendar for us, please!

The snug was perfect for both me and my dog. The hosts were so welcoming and so helpful with finding local facilities. The whole experience was very memorable.

Private location. Tea & Coffee and even Prosecco. Very cosy. Dog friendly
